Major Changes:

  • Added a world map
    • Accessed on the top right island
    • Covers 2 Dungeons, 1 boss fight and a Time Trial area
    • Completing one stage unlocks the next one
  • Abilities now get unlocked as you play
    • A new tutorial dungeon with weaker monsters unlocks the first abilty
    • The other 2 are unlocked in the second dungeon

Improvements:

  • lighting and post processing changes
  • balancing changes:
    • Player attack ability is slightly weaker
    • Staggering enemies now deals twice as much damage
    • increased range of dash ability
    • shield explosion has a short cooldown, to accidental double click after shield throw
    • decreased time between waves, enemies now spawn faster in general

Quality of life

  • enemy wobble is faster, making it easier to see that it triggers on damage
  • auto aim now has far bigger range
  • easier distinction between next room and upgrade regions
  • healing region in the Time Trial area was moved into the center
  • made regions in Time Trial area activate faster

Fixes:

  • fixed a softlock when resetting the game over and over again
  • fixed framerate counter weird initial numbers
  • fixed a softlock when you exit the boss arena too fast
